Mumbai Indians have been on the back seat in the early part of the UAE phase of IPL 2021 and no one would have expected them to lose out on two games continuously. They have moved to the sixth position in the points table from being fourth and their net run rate has got worse as well with their recent loss to KKR. They have been far from their best and it is very important that they make a come back soon.

Mumbai Indians bowling looked very less potent against the KKR batting lineup and they needed to be a little more clinical in their approach. Ishan Kishan hasn’t been at his best in IPL 2021 while Krunal Pandya is failing to have an effect on the game. They will have two days’ time to assess themselves and bring their A-game into play ahead of the next encounter against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
