IPL 2021: Rajasthan Royals (RR) Squad, Schedule, Updated Time, And Venue. Rajasthan Royals are set to commence their journey in IPL 2021 UAE leg with the opening match against Punjab Kings. The match will take place on September 21 at Dubai International Stadium, two days post Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings opener. RR will play a total of 7 matches during the UAE leg of IPL 2021.
After the first leg, RR are placed on the 5th spot in the points table. With 3 wins and 4 defeats in 7 games, the team have 6 points. RR defeated Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the first leg. However, they faced losses against Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, and Mumbai Indians.

For the UAE leg, some players will be available to play for RR. To begin with, Jofra Archer will not be available for the UAE leg has been replaced by Glenn Phillips. Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes are also going to be absent in IPL 2021 UAE leg. Evin Lewis and Oshane Thomas have been roped in as replacements for the England duo. Andrew Tye will be replaced by Tabraiz Shamsi.

Under their new skipper Sanju Samson, RR will seek to win their 2nd title in the tournament. The franchise won the debut season in 2008 but has not managed to win the title again. The absence of England trio Jos Buttler, Ben Stokes, and Jofra Archer will definitely haunt the franchise during the UAE leg.
