Royal Challengers Bangalore will commence their journey in IPL 2021 UAE leg with the match against Kolkata Knight Riders. The clash will take place on September 20 at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. During the UAE leg, RCB will play a total of 7 matches in the group stage.
The Virat Kohli-led RCB played 7 matches in the first leg of IPL 2021. They bagged wins in 5 games and faced defeats in 2 clashes. RCB defeated Mumbai Indians, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, and Delhi Capitals. Their 2 losses came against Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings.

In the UAE leg, RCB will see some changes in the squad. Wanindu Hasaranga will replace Adam Zampa while Dushmantha Chameera will replace Daniel Sams. Tim David has been roped in to replace Finn Allen. Scott Kuggeleijn will not be available for the UAE leg and George Garton will replace him. Washinton Sundar has been ruled out due to injury and Akash Deep will replace him in the RCB squad.
Glenn Maxwell is the most successful batsman for RCB so far, scoring 223 runs in 6 innings with 2 half-centuries. He is followed by AB de Villiers, who has mustered 207 runs in 6 innings while smacking 2 fifties.
Harshal Patel has been a marvellous bowler for RCB. With 17 wickets in 7 games, he is the top wicket-taker in the tournament so far.
