IPL 2021 Schedule, Live, Date, Table, Match List. IPL 2021 is all set to entertain cricket fans all over the world. The 14th edition of the Indian Premier League will see the first match of the UAE leg on September 19. In the opening encounter, Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians will lock horns with each other at Dubai International Stadium.

IPL 2021 was suspended earlier in May by BCCI due to the covid-19 pandemic. In the first leg, 29 matches were played. Now, the rest of the 31 matches will be played in the second leg, which will witness the final on October 15.

Delhi Capitals are currently at the peak of the IPL 2021 points table with 12 points. They are followed by Chennai Super Kings on 2nd spot and Royal Challengers Bangalore on 3rd spot, both teams having 10 points each. On the 4th spot, Mumbai Indians are stationed with 8 points.

Rajasthan Royals hold the 5th spot with 6 points while Punjab Kings take the 6th spot with 6 points. Kolkata Knight Riders have 4 points in their kitty and they take the 7th spot. Sunrisers Hyderabad, with just 2 points, take the last 8th spot in the points table.

Delhi Capitals’ Shikhar Dhawan is the highest run-getter in the tournament so far. The left-handed batsman has smacked 380 runs in 8 innings along with 3 half-centuries. KL Rahul is the 2nd highest run-getter in IPL 2021 with 331 runs in 7 innings and 4 half-centuries. Faf du Plessis comes next with 320 runs in 7 innings.

RCB’s Harshal Patel is the top wicket-taker of the tournament. The right-arm pacer has scalped 17 wickets in 7 matches. He is followed by DC’s Avesh Khan and RR’s Chris Morris, both of whom have bagged 14 wickets. With 11 wickets, MI spinner Rahul Chahar is the next bowler in this list. Delhi Capitals was led by Rishabh Pant in the first leg of IPL 2021 as their regular skipper Shreyas Iyer was injured. However, Iyer is back to lead the franchise in the UAE leg. However, the team is going to be led by Rishabh Pant in the UAE leg as well. The squad comprises strong players like Shikhar Dhawan, Steve Smith, Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje among others.

Punjab Kings have not managed to win any title in IPL so far and they will aim for the same in IPL 2021. Chris Gayle and Nicholas Pooran are few popular names in the overseas category. While Mohammed Shami is their prime pacer.

The absence of England trio Jos Buttler, Ben Stokes, and Jofra Archer will definitely haunt the franchise during the UAE leg.
