The 14th edition of the Indian Premier League will see the first match of the UAE leg on September 19. In the opening encounter, Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians will lock horns with each other at Dubai International Stadium.
IPL 2021 was suspended earlier in May by BCCI due to the covid-19 pandemic. In the first leg, 29 matches were played. Now, the rest of the 31 matches will be played in the second leg, which will witness the final on October 15.

Delhi Capitals’ Shikhar Dhawan is the highest run-getter in the tournament so far. The left-handed batsman has smacked 380 runs in 8 innings along with 3 half-centuries. KL Rahul is the 2nd highest run-getter in IPL 2021 with 331 runs in 7 innings and 4 half-centuries. Faf du Plessis comes next with 320 runs in 7 innings.
RCB’s Harshal Patel is the top wicket-taker of the tournament. The right-arm pacer has scalped 17 wickets in 7 matches. He is followed by DC’s Avesh Khan and RR’s Chris Morris, both of whom have bagged 14 wickets. With 11 wickets, MI spinner Rahul Chahar is the next bowler in this list.
