IPL 2021 Schedule, Live, Date, Table, Match List. Indian cricket fans are all excited for the forthcoming IPL 2021 UAE leg, which is set to begin on September 19. The opening encounter will see Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians battling against each other. During the UAE leg, a total of 31 matches will be played in IPL 2021.

The 14th edition of the Indian Premier League, IPL 2021, was suspended by BCCI in May earlier due to Covid-19. After few players and support staff members tested positive for Covid amid the tournament, BCCI suspended the tournament with immediate effect. Now, the tournament will witness the remaining games in UAE from September 19 to October 15.

Delhi Capitals currently hold the top spot in IPL 2021 points table with 12 points, winning 6 games out of 8. Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore are placed on the 2nd and 3rd spot respectively, with 5 wins out of 7 games and 10 points. With 8 points, Mumbai Indians hold 4th place in IPL 2021 points table and have won 4 games and lost 3.

Rajasthan Royals are placed on the 5th spot with 3 victories and 4 wins while Punjab Kings hold the 6th spot with 3 wins and 5 losses. With just 2 victories out of 7 matches, Kolkata Knight Riders are placed on 7th place while Sunrisers Hyderabad hold the 8th spot with just 1 victory in 7 games.

Shikhar Dhawan, who plays for Delhi Capitals, is the leading run-scorer of the tournament. The left-handed batsman has smashed 380 runs in 8 innings. He is followed by Punjab Kings skipper KL Rahul and Chennai Super Kings’ opener Faf du Plessis, who have mustered 331 and 320 runs in 7 innings respectively.

In bowling, RCB’s Harshal Patel is the highest wicket-taker with 17 scalps in 7 matches. DC’s Avesh Khan and Rajasthan Royals’ Chris Morris follow him with 14 wickets each. However, the team is going to be led by Rishabh Pant in the UAE leg as well. The squad comprises strong players like Shikhar Dhawan, Steve Smith, Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje among others.

While Mohammed Shami is their prime pacer.
