CSK vs DC: Watch- MS Dhoni Hilariously Slaps An Unsuspecting Deepak Chahar While He Was Busy Talking With Dwayne Bravo

Every now and then, MS Dhoni surprises the world by doing something out of the blue. And Deepak Chahar would definitely agree with this after being hilariously slapped by his Chennai Super Kings skipper just before the game against Delhi Capitals at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Wednesday (May 10).

The incident took place when MS Dhoni in his full kit walked out on the field for the toss. After the toss, as Dhoni was walking back to the dugout, he spotted Deepak Chahar chatting with his former CSK teammate Dwayne Bravo.

Bravo, who announced his retirement from IPL last year, is currently a part of CSK’s coaching staff. Talking about the incident, Chahar did see Dhoni walking past him but just like anyone else, he had no idea what was to come.

As Chahar was busy talking to Bravo, MS Dhoni decided to have some fun in an unusual manner. Captain Cool, who is known for not showing any sort of emotions on the cricket field, hilariously slapped an unsuspecting Chahar and walked away without showing an expression.

Talking about the game, CSK scores 167 for 8 in the allotted 20 overs after MS Dhoni won the toss and elected to field first. Several CSK batsmen got the start with the bat but could not capitalize. Shivam Dube to-scored for the 4-time winners, scoring 25. As far as Dhoni is concerned, he entertained the crowd by playing a fine cameo of 20 runs from just 9 balls.

In reply, Delhi Capitals were on 84 for 3 in the 13th over at the time of writing this report. The visitors were reeling at 25 for 3 in the 4th over before Manish Pandey and Rilee Rossouw steadied the ship.
