Gujarat Titans Were Overconfident Against Chennai Super Kings In Qualifier 1: Wasim Jaffer

Jaffer recognized that defeating the Gujarat Titans at their home ground is a challenging task due to their familiarity with the conditions. He acknowledged that the Titans have a strong team with better options, including quality spin bowlers and batting depth.

Jaffer believed that if the Titans stick to their original plan and revert to their successful template, with Hardik Pandya bowling and Sai Sudharsan in the lineup, they have a slight advantage in the final.

“Gujarat Titans have better options. They have two very good spin bowlers, have more depth in batting and will play at home. I felt Gujarat Titans became a little overconfident in Qualifier 1, but they reverted to their old template, with Hardik Pandya bowling and Sai Sudharsan. If they follow that template, GT have a slight edge tonight,” Jaffer concluded.
