The video and message “When nostalgia hits!” represent the Indian cricket team’s feelings for their World Cup-winning captain.

A spectacular six over a deep square leg by Dhoni on Friday during the IPL 2023 season opener against the defending champion Gujarat Titans threw the Ahmedabad crowd into a frenzy. He finished with a seven-ball total of 14. CSK, however, struggled to get off to a successful start, dropping their fourth straight IPL match—three of which occurred last season.
