Harry Brook, on Saturday (April 29), nearly pulled off one of the best catches of all time during the IPL 2023 game between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
The England star has been grabbing the headlines for all the wrong reasons in recent times. The right-handed batsman is having a terrible time with the bat in his maiden IPL season. Barring the century that he scored against Kolkata Knight Riders, Brook has done almost nothing worth mentioning with the bat.

Unsurprisingly, he has been facing severe criticism from the cricket fraternity. He failed to deliver with the bat against Delhi Capitals too. After constantly failing as an opener, he was sent to bat at number 5 but could not deliver. He was dismissed by Mitchell Marsh for a two-ball duck.

SRH desperately needed a wicket as Philip Salt and Mitchell Marsh put Delhi Capitals on top. At the end of the ninth over, DC were on 97 for 1 while chasing 198. And on the very first ball of the 10th over, SRH nearly had the breakthrough when Harry Brook came up with his stunning effort.
Mayank Markande bowled a short delivery to Marsh who pulled it towards long on. The ball was looking destined to sail over Brook for a six. However, Brook had other plans. Just before the ball could go past over him, he jumped and caught it with one hand out of nowhere. The momentum was taking him over the boundary and he quickly threw the ball inside the field. Unfortunately, he could not catch the ball after getting inside the field.
