1) Jonny Bairstow

Bairstow missed the ICC T20 World Cup for England with a freakish injury after he injured himself at the golf course before the event. However, with enough time still remaining for the start of IPL 2023, Bairstow is likely to recover and be available for IPL 2023.

After playing initially for Sunrises Hyderabad and scoring over 1000 runs in four seasons, Bairstow joined Punjab Kings and scored 253 runs in 11 matches last year. If Punjab releases him, SRH should go hard behind their former keeper batsman. PBKS roped him in for 6.75 crores in the IPL 2022 auction. He can cover up for two places in the XI. He is a top-order batter and can also keep wickets allowing SRH to play an extra batter or bowler when required.
