Delhi Capitals finished IPL 2022 fourth on the points table. Their loss to Mumbai Indians in their last league game allowed RCB to make it through to the IPL 2022 playoffs. Chennai Super Kings, on the other hand, was one of the bottom two teams in IPL 2022.

IPL 2023 will be played between April-May next year. Ahead of the season, the auction ahead of the season will be crucial for all the teams. Caribbean cricketer Rovman Powell is one of the biggest hitters of the ball in the modern game. He gave a glimpse of the same when West Indies toured India last year that helped him bag a contract with Delhi Capitals. He showcased his power-hitting skills for the franchise in the IPL 2022 season.

However, there might be a scenario where Delhi might be forced to release him to buy other players. If that happens, CSK has a chance to strike gold and buy Powell for a normal price.

Ngidi did not play even a single match for Delhi Capitals. He was one of the regulars while playing for CSK from IPL 2018 to IPL 2021. The CSK management would love to buy back one of their former trusted players. He took 25 wickets for CSK before the franchise released him ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction. They have a chance to buy him back again.

Bharat is one of the good young wicketkeepers in Indian cricket at the moment. Currently, he is a part of the squad that is in England preparing for the one-off test match. Bharat is a safe keeper behind the stumps and a good batter as well. He can certainly be a good replacement for MS Dhoni at CSK.
