At the IPL 2022 mega auction, Punjab Kings paid the 29-year-old cricketer 20 lakh to use his talents. However, he was unable to crack the starting lineup and was forced to sit out the entire campaign. 

It has always been difficult for an off-spinner to bowl in the Indian Premier League and not many teams take this risk. Therefore, it seems difficult that any team will look out to buy the Bengal cricketer in the auction.
