Varun Aaron

The Jharkhand speedster was one of the main backups in the pace bowling department of Gujarat Titans. He received two chances to prove his mettle in IPL 2022 but leaked a lot of runs. Even though he had 2 scalps under his belt, Aaron could not stop the batters from taking him to the cleaners.

Hardik Pandya reposed faith in the young Yash Dayal and he impressed one and all. It is likely that Aaron will be released by the franchise.

Vijay Shankar

We all remember Vijay Shankar to be one of the main all-rounders of Team India in 2018 and 2019. While Hardik Pandya was recuperating from an injury, the Indian cricket team tried finding an alternative in Shankar. Shankar was roped in by the Gujarat Titans franchise in the IPL 2022 auctions and he failed to impress the management.

The 31-year-old all-rounder scored only 19 runs in the tournament. He also failed to bag a wicket. The all-rounder had a disastrous economy of 10.00 in IPL 2022.

Dominic Drakes

Previously a part of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) franchise, Drakes was bought by Gujarat Titans in IPL 2022. He failed to get any game under his belt and was warming the benches in the entirety of IPL 2022. The left-arm pacer could not compete with the huge competition in the bowling ranks of Gujarat with the presence of Mohammad Shami, Yash Dayal, and Lockie Ferguson. Drakes has played 10 T20Is for West Indies and has managed to pick up 6 wickets. He has a bowling average of 48.3 in T20Is.
