The South African batter has enough international experience having played 18 Tests, 38 ODIs, and 41 T20Is where he averages above 30. In fact, his average is about 70 in ODIs. However, he scored only 22 runs in 3 games in IPL 2022 averaging a mere 11 and a below-par strike rate of 91.67. He averages 37 in the T20 format having played 150 games.

Rassie van der Dussen broke his left index finger while fielding during the second Test against England at Old Trafford. He returned home after that match to see a finger specialist and was ruled out of T20 World Cup 2022.

1. Delhi Capitals (DC)

Rassie Van der Dussen is a seasoned batter who has the ability to erupt in the middle order. He scored an unbeaten 75 off just 46 balls in June of this year’s match against India in Delhi to lead South Africa to victory. He has a lot of domestic cricket experience in South Africa, and the young players in the Delhi Capitals squad will definitely benefit from his knowledge.

The Delhi Capitals still have 19.45 crores in their bank account, so they must work to fill most of the team’s holes. Since the middle-order batter is quite fragile, the Rishabh Pant-led side must concentrate on purchasing quality batters.

2. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)

Rassie Van der Dussen is a middle-order batsman for South Africa. He can, however, be used as an opener, and the Sunrisers Hyderabad are willing to take that risk.
