BCCI has allowed all the teams to retain a maximum of 15 players in their squads. Hence, the IPL 2023 auction is going to be a mini-auction. However, the mini-auction will have a huge effect on the team’s composition. About 650 players are expected to go under the hammer during IPL 2023 mini-auction.
Last year, two new teams were added to Indian Premier League making it a 10-team tournament. Gujarat Titans, one of the new teams, also won the title last season after defeating Rajasthan Royals in the final.
While players of teams battle against each other during the IPL tournaments on the field, franchise owners lock horns during IPL auctions. Hence, IPL 2023 auction will witness another exciting battle among team owners to grab their favourite players during the event. Below we take a glance at all the details about IPL 2023 mini-auction.
