Former Indian opener Aakash Chopra has picked the franchise with the best bowling attack ahead of IPL 2023. The season starts on March 31 with Gujarat Titans taking on CSK at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Ahead of the season opener, Aakash Chopra has said that according to him, it is the Delhi Capitals who have arguably the best bowling attack in this IPL. The side will be led by David Warner in the absence of Rishabh Pant.

Anrich Nortje Raring To Go: Aakash Chopra
Talking about the bowlers, they have Anrich Nortje leading the attack along with the likes of Khaleel Ahmed, Ishant Sharma, Lungi Ngidi, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, and Mukesh Kumar as pace options. In the spin department, they the old and wily Amit Mishra along with Kuldeep Yadav who has rediscovered his mojo since IPL 2022.
“Anrich Nortje – fit, available and raring to go. Then Mustafizur Rahman, Lungi Ngidi, Chetan Sakariya, Khaleel Ahmed, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Mukesh Kumar and Ishant Sharma. They also have Pravin Dubey, Vicky Ostwal and Aman Khan. This team will not have a problem of bowlers,” Chopra said.
“They used to have Shardul, they let him go. Now that Anrich Nortje is fit, available and raring to go – incredible. He is my favourite T20 bowler after Jasprit Bumrah. He is absolutely brilliant,” he further added on the matter.

There Is No Weakness In DC’s Bowling: Aakash Chopra
Speaking about the Delhi Capitals’ bowling attack, Chopra said that the bowling overall looks like a formidable attack and there is no such weakness.
“The bowling looks formidable. There is no weakness in bowling. They have Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav, who bowled amazingly well last time, picked up a lot of wickets and he was absolutely brilliant,” Chopra said on his show AakashVani.
Delhi Capitals kick off their IPL 2023 campaign against Lucknow Super Giants in Lucknow on April 1. With Warner leading the side, Axar Patel has been assigned the vice-captaincy duties.
