Danish Kaneria criticized Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid for their handling of Suryakumar Yadav, suggesting that the batsman’s lack of confidence may be a direct result of their actions.
The former Pakistan spinner accused the Indian team management of favoritism towards certain players, which he claimed was affecting the team’s overall performance. Kaneria went on to say that Suryakumar Yadav’s struggles were a direct result of the pressure put on him by the coaching staff and the captain, and that the situation could have been avoided if they had shown more faith in the player.

The ex-cricketer criticized the Indian team management for their decision to bat Suryakumar Yadav at No.7 in the third ODI match against Australia, despite his usual position at No.4. Kaneria raised questions about the team’s tactics, as he felt that it was unfair to push Suryakumar down the batting order and have players like Axar Patel and Hardik Pandya bat ahead of him, with KL Rahul taking the No.4 spot.
