Sandeep Sharma is the first Indian player who should retire from the T20s after going unsold in the IPL auction 2023. The right-arm medium pacer kept a base price of Rs. 50 lakh in the auction. However, he went unsold as no franchise showed interest in buying him. Last season, Sharma gave a poor show while playing for Punjab Kings.

He played 5 games for the team and could pick only 2 wickets. Hence, the team benched him in other games. In IPL 2021 too, Sharma could only get 3 wickets in 7 games for Sunrisers Hyderabad. As a result, the team benched him in other games. Hence, he has not been able to deliver in T20s and he should now retire from the shortest format.

Dhawal Kulkarni is another Indian player who should retire from the T20s after going unsold in the IPL auction 2023. The right-arm medium pacer kept a base price of Rs. 50 lakh but no franchise showed interest in him. Kulkarni also went unsold in the IPL 2022 auction.

In IPL 2021 and IPL 2020, he played just 1 game for his team Mumbai Indians. After he went wicketless in the matches, the team benched him in other games. It seems like Dhawal Kulkarni has no future in IPL and he should also put an end to his T20 career.

Karun Nair is another Indian player on this list. Nair is a right-handed batsman. He had a base price of Rs. 50 lakh in the IPL auction 2023 and went unsold. In IPL 2022, Karun Nair was a member of the Rajasthan Royals.

After he scored just 16 runs in 3 games, the team benched him in other matches. Hence, Nair does not have the strength in batting that he used to have in the past. Nair should consider retiring from the T20s.
