Tom Banton went unsold during IPL 2023 auction. The England player had a base price of Rs. 2 crores during the auction. Tom Banton is a wicketkeeper batsman.

The wicketkeeper was not part of the last season of IPL 2022. In the IPL 2020 auction, the right-handed batter was picked by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs. 1 crore. He played 2 games for the team and scored 18 runs. Later, Banton did not play in the 2021 and 2022 seasons.
