LSG vs PBKS: “Ravi Bishnoi Is A Fearless Bowler, Doesn’t Give Away His Aggressive Mindset” – Pravin Tambe

Pravin Tambe, the Lucknow Super Giants spin bowling coach has hailed young spinner Ravi Bishnoi for keeping an aggressive mindset as a spinner. LSG who have won three out of four games will take on Punjab Kings in their next game in Lucknow in IPL 2023.

LSG have played some really good cricket up to this point and a lot of it is due to the contribution of Ravi Bishnoi. The leggie has taken six wickets in four games and is the second LSG bowler in the list of top wicket-takers. The list is headed by Mark Wood who has taken nine wickets in three games.

LSG’s official Twitter handle shared a video of Pravin Tambe reflecting back on his career as a cricketer. In the same video, he spoke about Ravi Bishnoi and his traits as a spinner.

“Ravi Bishnoi is an aggresisve spinner. He always bowls with an aggressive mindset and does not give it away. I have seen him ading extra pressure on the batsman. As a bowler, it is our job to keep the batters under pressure. If the pressure gets to me than I cannot do my job as a bowler” said Tambe.

Talking about his days as a professional cricketer, Tambe said ” When I made my debut, pople were talking more about my age than my debut. My only motivation was to play every game as my last game. The attitude of playing for the team helped me take my career forward”.

Pravin Tambe also spoke about his role as the spin bowling coach with the IPL franchise. He spoke about the minute details he focuses on as a bowling coach with the bowlers he works with.

“As a bowling coach when an idea comes together after talking about it with the support stagg you gfeel happy and satisfied with you role” Pravin Tambe concluded saying.
