Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar’s son, Arjun Tendulkar, is expected to make his debut for the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Arjun Tendulkar Will Play In The Playing XI This Year – Mark Boucher

Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma and head coach Mark Boucher both believe that left-arm pace all-rounder Arjun Tendulkar could make his debut in the world’s best T20 league this year after performing with the ball in domestic cricket in recent times.

“Arjun Tendulkar is playing good cricket in recent times. He was injured but today he will start bowling,” said Rohit Sharma.

“Arjun has been playing good cricket for some time, he is bowling well, we are thinking that he will play in the playing XI this year,” Boucher said.

The Mumbai-based franchise is expecting to bounce back in the IPL 2023 after failing to qualify for the knockout games in the last two seasons. However, their pace bowling department is looking weak heading into the tournament with the injuries to Jhye Richardson and Jasprit Bumrah. Jofra Archer is likely to miss a few matches this season to manage his workload.
