Delhi Capitals (DC) won the toss & opted to bowl first against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). DC astonishingly left out the dashing batter Prithvi Shaw from the playing 11 and even from the impact player substitutes. Prithvi Shaw had scored 47 runs in 6 matches and was seen struggling.
Prithvi Shaw has been dictating the terms in the domestic arena by amassing tons of runs. David Warner stated that Shaw needs to hone his skills which has looked scratchy. DC have included Sarfaraz Khan in the playing 11 who can be the lightning spark for the team.
