Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are all set to take on Delhi Capitals (DC) at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad on 24th April (*Monday). This is the 4th match at the venue as SRH have won the last 2 matches at the surface.

SRH needs a quick turnaround after a disappointing performance against CSK. The side is too much reliant on Harry Brook & Rahul Tripathi. It would be interesting to see whether Mayank Agarwal bats lower down the order after a terrible performance against CSK

DC on the other hand have a lot to ponder despite registering their first win after 5 straight losses. DC’s batters looked quite clueless against KKR’s spinners and almost made a mess of the run chase. DC perhaps needs to bring back Sarfaraz Khan into the playing 11.

“We are gonna bat first. Looks like a nice surface, has a nice even sheen to it. If you put a nice total, you can defend it. It’s about being consistent. We got to start well in the first 6 with bat and ball. My mindset is to thank the crowd, they’ve been a great support. For me, it’s about entertaining them. Absolutely love this venue, I owe it to the fans. Sarfaraz Khan comes in and Ripal Patel is in. I owe it to the curator, you have to start well,” said David Warner.

Aiden Markram was quite happy to bowl first. Markram emphasized on the fact that it is an important game for the side. Aiden Markram was quite hopeful that the track would remain the same throughout the innings and was expecting a cracker of a game.

“We would have bowled first, not too unhappy. The surface shouldn’t get worse. It’s an important game for us, we need to start getting points on the board. We are looking forward to the challenge. Should be a good game of cricket. There’s one change within the sixteen,” said Aiden Markram

“Nitish Reddy gets into the 16 – bowling all-rounder for us. In terms of our batting, it has been up and down but we’ve made a conscious decision to pick a top six/seven that we are going to hopefully back for the remaining games. Looks good, pretty similar to the Mumbai game. Plenty runs there, hopefully we can deliver a good performance,” he added.
