Bangladesh vs New Zealand Today Match Prediction, 2nd T20I. Bangladesh have taken a 1-0 lead in the five-match T20 series after beating New Zealand by 7 wickets in the first T20 game on Wednesday. A second-string New Zealand team were bundled out for just 60 runs in the first innings and after winning the toss and batting first.

Lack of experience of playing in subcontinent conditions made New Zealand batters tough as they found it extremely tough to counter spin and uneven bounce. Both the New Zealand openers, Tom Blundell (2) and Rachin Ravindra (0)  went back to the pavilion inside three overs.

The numbers three and four, Will Young (5) and Colin de Grandhomme (1) too followed soon as Blackcaps found themselves reeling at 9 for 4 in 4 overs.

Experienced campaigners, Henry Nicholls and Tom Latham tried to lead New Zealand’s recovery. The dup added 34 runs for the fifth wicket before Latham became Saifuddin’s first wicket of the match. The Bangladesh seamer got rid of both Latham (18 off 25) and Nicholls (18 off 24)in his two consecutive overs to leave New Zealand in tatters.

Muztafizur then ran through New Zealand tailenders to bundle them out for just 60 runs.

New Zealand applied spin from the very first over of the second innings and got rewarded as well.  Both the Bangladesh openers went back into the hut inside the first three overs. However, Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim denied New Zealand from taking control of the game as the duo added 30 runs for the third wicket.

Shakib lost his wicket after scoring 25 in the 10 over but had done the damage by then. Mushfiqur Rahim (16 off 26) and Mahmudullah (14 off 22) then stitched a 25-run partnership to guide Bangladesh to a seven-wicket win.
