An almost second-string England team beat Pakistan comprehensively in the first ODI in Cardiff by 8 wickets. Despite missing the big players, the side put up a professional performance led by pacer Saqib Mahmood. Then it was Dawid Malan and Zak Crawley who stitched an unbeaten 120-run partnership to help their side win the game within 20-odd overs. In the process, they take a 1-0 lead in the series.

The second game now between both sides will be played at Lord’s on 10th July. Pakistan has to come up with far better performance than they did in the first ODI. The second ODI now becomes a must-win for Pakistan to keep the series alive.

Who Will Win The Match: Match Prediction

England won the match rather comprehensively against Pakistan. The men in Green were completely outplayed in all departments of the game. It did not look like a second-string England side played the game. With the knowledge of home conditions and the side leading in the series, England should win the second ODI as well.
