After the three-match T20I series, England and Sri Lanka face off in a three-match ODI series starting with the first game in Riverside Ground, Chester-le-Street, on Tuesday, June 29. England won the T20I series 3-0 and is looking upbeat to win the ODI series as well. Heading into this ODI series, England is placed fourth while Sri Lanka is placed as low as ninth in the ICC ODI rankings.
Meanwhile, both teams have injury concerns heading into the series. England’s Jos Buttler was ruled out of the series due to a calf injury. Dawid Malan was added to the side.
