Scotland vs Zimbabwe Prediction- Who Will Win The 3rd T20I Between Scotland and Zimbabwe? Zimbabwe have levelled the three-match T20 series 1-1 after winning the second game by 10 runs against Scotland on Friday. W Masakadza held his nerves to defend 13 runs off the final over to help his side level the series with one match left to be played.
Zimbabwe batted first and posted a 136-run total in the first innings. The openers didn’t give the team a great start as Zimbabwe lost the first three wickets for just 20 runs.
Craig Ervine and Sean Williams, however, steadied the ship and struck a valuable partnership for the fourth wicket. The duo add 71 runs for the fourth wicket and brought Zimbabwe back into the game. Ervine scored 30 off 36 balls. Williams, on the other hand, stayed unbeaten at 60 off 52 deliveries. Thanks to those contributions. Zimbabwe end their innings at 136 for 5 in their allotted 20 overs.
G Munsey (9 off 6) and Kyle Coetzer (2 of 4), once again, failed to give the side a great start. Ollie Hairs got out on the very first ball he faced. In pursuit of the total, Ireland found themselves reeling at 16 for 4 inside the first five overs. Richie Berrington, however, once again stood up for the side and led the recovery alongside Mathew Cross. The duo helped the team reach 90 runs in 15 over. However, Berrington’s wicket in the 15th over of the innings brought Zimbabwe back into the game.
Mathew Cross (42 off 35) also got out in the 18th over. However, Michael Leask stayed right till the end and kept the hopes alive for the hosts. Needing 13 runs in the final over, Leask, unfortunately, got out while trying to hit a shot. Masakadza gave just 2 runs in the final over, helping Zimbabwe win the game by 10 runs.
The third and final T20 international will be played at Grange Cricket Stadium in Edinburgh on Sunday.
