But Ajaz, who was born in Mumbai, created a mesmerising moment for him as he picked all ten wickets of India in the first innings. He became the third bowler in history to achieve the milestone after India’s Anil Kumble and late England player Jim Laker.
Ajaz didn’t have a verified (blue tick) Twitter account before he rose to fame for his remarkable achievement. Ashwin, who is fond of entertaining his fans on the microblogging platform, wrote to the official handle of ‘Verified’ which looks after the verified profiles on Twitter.
“Dear @verified , a ten wicket bag in an innings definitely deserves to be verified here! 😂 @AjazP,” Ashwin wrote on his Twitter handle.
Thank you @verified 🤩
