IND vs NZ Head to Head Records, New Zealand’s Head to Head Record Against India– New Zealand Tour of India 2021, 2nd Test. India and New Zealand are set to battle against each other in an upcoming Test match. IND vs NZ, 2nd Test of the two-match Test series commences on December 3 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The first Test between both the teams ended in a draw.

During IND vs NZ 1st Test, India won the toss and opted to bat first. With Shubman Gill (52) and Ravindra Jadeja’s (50) fifties and Shreyas Iyer’s century (105), Indian team piled up 345-10 on the scoreboard in the 1st innings. Later, New Zealand openers started well with Tom Latham hitting 95 and Will Young scoring 89. However, the rest of the batsmen could not score much runs and the visitors were bowled out for 296.

In the 2nd innings. Shreyas Iyer again played a fabulous knock hitting 65 runs. Wriddhiman Saha also played a crucial unbeaten knock of 61 runs, taking India to 234-7 (d) in the 2nd innings. With a 284-run target for New Zealand, India had a full day to crush the visitor’s batting.

New Zealand opener Tom Latham again slammed a great knock of 52 runs. However, New Zealand lost wickets in the middle quickly and were on the edge of a defeat. However, last batsmen Rachin Ravindra and Ajaz Patel kept their wickets for almost 8-plus overs in the end and took the match to a draw.

While playing on Indian soil, India have defeated New Zealand 16 times out of 35 games while losing only 2. There were 17 matches that ended in a draw. At Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, both the teams have played 2 Test matches before with both of them winning 1 game each.
