India and New Zealand will battle against each other in their next T20I encounter of the ongoing New Zealand tour of India 2021. The IND vs NZ, 3rd T20 clash will take place on November 21 (Sunday) at Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata.

India have already won the three-match T20I series 2-0 after winning the first two T20I encounters. India defeated New Zealand by 5 wickets in IND vs NZ 1st T20I. Asked to bat first, New Zealand piled up 164-4 on the scoreboard.

Martin Guptill slammed a 70-run knock while Mark Chapman scored 63 runs. They also build a 109-run stand for the 2nd wicket. However, New Zealand failed to smash a lot of runs in the death overs. For India, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ravichandran Ashwin scalped 2 wickets each.

While chasing the target, Indian opener Rohit Sharma slammed a 48-run knock- flooding runs during the powerplay overs with KL Rahul. Later, one-down Suryakumar Yadav slammed 62 runs, which set the tone for India’s successful chase. India did lose 3 wickets in the last 4 overs but managed to reach the target in the final over.

Taking about IND vs NZ 2nd T20I, India bagged a comfortable victory in the clash by 7 wickets. Batting first, Kiwi put up 153-6 in 20 overs. Opener Martin Guptill and Daryl Mitchell played decent knocks of 31 runs. Later, middle-order batsman Glenn Phillips also scored crucial 34 runs. Harshal Patel picked most 2 wickets while the rest 4 bowlers bagged 1 scalp each.

Indian opener KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma build the foundation for the chase, slamming 65 and 55 respectively. They also made an incredible 117-run opening stand. Later, Venkatesh Iyer and Rishabh Pant scored the remaining runs needed for victory, hitting unbeaten 12 runs each.

Tim Southee managed to pick 3 wickets as India won by 7 wickets in the end. Harshal Patel, who made his international debut with the match, was adjudged player of the match for his 2-wicket haul.
