The West Indies tour of New Zealand kicks off from 27th of November with the T20I series. Have you got your Dream11 combination set?

New Zealand resume their International cricket post-Covid interruptions by hosting Windies. The first T20 is scheduled to begin on 27th November at Eden Park, Auckland. Both the teams look well equipped and the players are in great touch.

West Indies have already played some international cricket and are coming off 1-2 Test series defeat against England. It won’t be an easy Dream11 team’s choice as there are multiple players with pretty high credits. However, there are a few players that you can sacrifice for balancing the team for this game.

New Zealand vs West Indies 2020, 1st T20I: 3 Players You Can Avoid From Your Dream11 Team For NZ vs WI 1st T20I:

1) Nicholas Pooran (9.5 credits):

The wicketkeeper-batsman has fine records at international level but his inconsistency with the bat has become a reason to worry for the Windies. He bats with an excellent strike rate in the T20Is but his average dips on the foreign soils. You can afford to put him under the axe for this match considering his extremely high credits.

2) Shimron Hetmyer (9.5 credits):

The middle-order batsman has been scoring pretty well in the Windies but has failed badly on the foreign pitches. He is yet to taste the success that a batsman of his potential should have had. With his batting position still not confirmed due to irregularities in scoring, he is another player you can skip from few of your fantasy teams in the Grand Leagues.

3) Ish Sodhi (8.5 credits):

The spinner has been consistent with his performances on the spin-friendly wicket but seems to be a bit off-colour on the pace friendly pitches. He struggles to hunt even a single scalp on these surfaces and the Windies batting firepower might target him for runs. Hence, he is our third player that you can leave out from your fantasy team for this game considering the nature of the Auckland surface.
