Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will receive a shot in the arm as Nitish Rana has recovered and thus the southpaw batsman is available for selection against Mumbai Indians (MI). Rana had to miss out against Chennai Super Kings following the sore back.

The youngster had to retire hurt in the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore after he faced back issues.

The left-handed batsman Rana has scored 188 runs in the eight matches he has played for the Kolkata team.

Moreover, the Delhi-based player has also chipped in with his part-time off-spin bowling.

Rana is expected to take back his place from left-hander Rinku Singh, who has thus far failed to impress with his performances.
