Quetta Gladiators will square up against Multan Sultans in the 7th match of the Pakistan Super League 2022 on Monday at National Stadium in Karachi. Both teams have started their campaign with impressive performances with the bat.

Multan Sultans are currently sitting at the top of the table, having managed to win both the games they have played thus far. Multan Sultans didn’t bowl well in the last game as they conceded 206 runs in the first innings.

Once again, barring Imran Tahir, on other bowler looked threatening with the ball. The likes of Willey, Imran Khan, and S Dahani need to step up to the bowl and come good with the ball on Monday.

Shan Masood and M Rizwan made a rollicking start with the bat as they added 150 runs for the opening wicket. Masood scored 83 runs in 50 balls, while M Rizwan scored 69 runs in 42 balls, including 6 fours and 3 sixes.

Maqsood and Khusdil Shah, later, made valuable contributions to help the team win the game. The likes of R Rossouw and T David are yet to fire and this could be a concern.

Facing them are Quetta Gladiators, who too have showcased impressive all-round performances in the tournament. Quetta Gladiators batted first posted a mammoth 190-run total in their first and bundled out Karachi Kings for just 113 runs in the next game.

Naseem Shah ran through Karachi Kings’s batting line as he picked five wickets for just 20 runs in 3.3 overs. Sohail Tanvir also bowled well as he picked 2 wickets for 29 runs in 4 overs. Quetta Gladiators chased down the score in 15.5 overs with 8 wickets in hand. Ahsan Ali scored his second consecutive half-century in the tournament. while Will Smeed contributed 30 runs in 35 balls, while Sarfaraz Khan remained unbeaten on 16 off 9 deliveries.
