The ongoing final of the Pakistan Super League 2023 is on the verge of an exciting end after Multan Sultans have been given a total of 201 runs to chase and lift the PSL title. Lahore Qalandars batting first had a decent start as they managed to get 38 runs on the board before losing their 1st wicket in the fifth over.
Their batters contributed well in the middle overs edging past 100 runs on the board but Multan Sultans made a quick comeback dismissing both Sam Billings and Sikandar Raza to put the Qalandars in a tough position.

With Lahore Qalandars desperately needing someone to step up their game and deliver, it was the skipper Shaheen Afridi who emerged as the hero with the bat smashing an unbeaten 44 runs off just 15 deliveries to help his side get to 200 runs on the board.

Lahore fans and players were in joy as Shaheen Afridi smashed the Multan bowlers all around the park in his quick-fire innings. Star bowler Rashid Khan seemed ecstatic with the total on the board as he hugged his skipper as Shaheen Afridi made his return to the dugout at the end of the innings.
