Azam Khan scored 97 runs in 42 balls, where he struck 9 fours & 8 sixes. Mohammad Hasnain was at the receiving end as he gave away 52 runs in his 4 overs. Mohammad Hasnain gave away 42 runs in his last 2 overs where all his variations were proving to be ineffective.
Azam Khan is making a serious case for himself as he hasn’t represented Pakistan since the 2021 T20I series against West Indies. The peculiarity of Azam Khan was that he didn’t fear to take on the fielders and it looked as if he was toying with the bowlers with his wide range of shots.

Sikandar Bakht was having an interaction with Geo Super and was asked about Mohammad Hasnain’s bowling.
“Hasnain is an international cricketer, he plays franchise leagues across the world. And it is said that he will improve when he plays leagues overseas. But what was this bowling from him? In both, his third and fourth over, he gave away 22 runs.” said Sikandar Bakht.

It seemed there were some tensions between him and Azam Khan and that Hasnain wanted to dismiss him really badly. He kept bowling him short-pitched deliveries and bouncers, and Azam was hitting such amazing shots on them.” he added.
Sikandar Bakht warns Mohammad Hasnain
Sikandar Bakht then took a jibe atMohammad Hasnain.
“Mohammad Hasnain plays international cricket. And I’m warning him, Ihsanullah is getting ready, you will lose your place in the side. Bowl sensibly, try yorkers. You kept bowling short-of-a-length deliveries and Azam kept dispatching them.” said Sikandar Bakht.
Ihsanullah has been the biggest positive for Pakistan in PSL 2023. The pacer who is playing for Multan Sultans has taken 14 wickets and has got some sheer pace. The 20-year-old pacer is tipped to be the next big thing in World Cricket as he has got good control over his line & length.
