That Virat Kohli never shies away from taking the attack to the opposition is very well known and more often than not the India skipper comes out on top.

One of the most animated characters on a cricket field, the 29-year old, who has already scored a staggering 53 centuries across all formats, likes to give the opposition back both with his bat as well as his mouth.

Well, the latest person to see Kohli’s attacking and bold personality is South Africa speedster Kagiso Rabada. Both the players were involved in an interesting tussle on the second day of the ongoing Test in Centurion and the duel continued on day three too.

In the 78th over of the innings, Rabada, charging in from around the wicket, bowled a short delivery on the fourth ball of the over which Kohli let go behind the stumps. On the very next delivery, the right-arm pacer bowled another bouncer, as he tried to give the India star all sorts of a problem.

The ball had risen from a short of length but Kohli, who was batting on 124 at that time, rose tall and played the ball right under his feet. And what followed after that made it clear Kohli was in no mood to end the duel. After defending the venomous bouncer, Kohli raised his bat over his helmet and held the pose for a while to send out a message to Rabada.

Here is a clip of that incident:

Meanwhile, Kohli went on to score 153 and helped India to cross the 300-run mark. The visitors were eventually out for 307 in reply to South Africa’s 335.
