Meanwhile, this is a must-win game for the Cape Town side who are placed at the bottom of the table with 13 points from 8 games.
Pretoria Capitals (19)and the Sunrisers (19)are the top two teams in the points table at the moment. Paarl Royals (19) are placed third, the Super Kings (18) fourth, Durban Super Giants (14) fifth and MI Cape Town (13) last on the table. After the results of the two games on Friday, the campaign gets trickier for Cape Town and the Durban Super Giants.

The SA20 in its very first season has been a huge success. It has transformed T20 league cricket in South Africa and after multiple attempts at forming a successful league now seems to have an answer. The recently concluded Women’s U-19 T20 World Cup was also played in South Africa which was won by the Indian women’s U-19 cricket team beating England in the final.
A total of 6 teams are part of the tournament. MI Cape Town, Paarl Royals, Durban Super Giants, Joburg Super Kings, Sunrisers Eastern Cape, and Pretoria Capitals are the 6 teams that are part of the tournament. In the opening game of January 10, MI Cape Town took on the Paarl Royals. The SA20 2023 final will take place on February 11.

All these teams will face each twice during the league stage. A total of 33 games will take place during SA20 2023. Out of the 6 teams, the top 4 teams in the points table after the group stage will qualify for the semi-finals. The winners of the semi-finals will face each other in the final.
