It was a treat for the fans when Indian legends including Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Zaheer Khan, and many more took to the field in the opening game of the Road Safety World Series against West Indies Legends on Saturday at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

India Legends cruised past West Indies Legends by 7 wickets, thanks to a very special knock from Virender Sehwag of 74 runs. Fans got the opportunity to witness some of the stars of world cricket get back to the field to contest for a noble cause.

After the game, an adorable video has surfaced wherein Irfan Pathan’s son, Imran Pathan can be seen boxing with Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar.

Imran Khan Pathan was seen punching Tendulkar after the two measured their heights with the 3-year-old standing on top of a table. Tendulkar was pleasantly surprised by how strong the toddler was for his age.

The video of the duo playing with each other is going viral on social media.

India Legends Beat West Indies Legends

India Legends began their Road Safety World Series challenge in style as they beat West Indies Legends in the opening game of the tournament by 7 wickets at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday.

Having won the toss, India’s captain Sachin Tendulkar invited Windies to bat first. The West Indies legends could manage 150 runs in their 20 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. Shivnarine Chanderpaul was the top-scorer for West Indies as he scored 61 runs off 41 balls.

Chasing the target, India Legends started the chase on a solid note as the famous opening pair of ‘Viru and Sachin’ was back again to roll back the years for Indian cricket fans. They had a 75-run partnership for the first wicket.

Sehwag, just like his playing days, turned the clock and smashed the ball all-round the park. He went on to score 74 runs and made sure that India crossed the finishing line.
