Warne was well-known for his art of spin bowling and tricking the opposition batters during his playing times, he remains to be the second bowler to pick more than 1000 international wickets, Sri Lanka’s Muttiah Muralitharan happens to be the other one.

As mentioned in the report published by The Sydney Morning Herald, the event will be live-streamed with each of the broadcasters will likely get the opportunity to station a single camera person inside the venue. The footage shot by each network will be pooled and live-mixed into a single stream for output to each network. The government will also produce its own stream of the event.

It will be a celebration of Shane Warne’s life as it should be: Victoria Premier

Mr. Andrews said that the event will be a celebration of the Australian player’s life and all of his achievements will be highlighted on the board.

“There’s nowhere in the world more appropriate to farewell Warnie than the ’G’. It’ll be a very big event. It will be a celebration of his life as it should be,” Andrews said, as published in The Sydney Morning Herald.

“It is a very difficult time for them (Warne’s family). I hope that it would be made just that little bit easier by the fact that there has been such an outpouring of grief and support. And the farewell memorial will be a very, very important part of that,” Andrews further said.

According to reports from Australian media, Mr Andrews said they will chalk out plans for the memorial event and will finalise things related to COVID-19 norms but mentioned that there won’t be any barrier on crowd limit as the MCG has the capacity to host more than 100,000 people.
