IND vs SA: Parthiv Patel Chooses Ishan Kishan As His "Player To Watch" In The IND vs SA 2022 T20Is

Former Indian wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel has named thrilling opener Ishan Kishan as the player to watch during India’s T20I series against South Africa. The five-match series is set to take place on June 9.
Kishan scored 418 runs for the Mumbai Indians (MI) in IPL 2022. Despite batting at a strike rate of only 120.11, Patel claims the 23-year-old can help the national team.
In an interview with Cricbuzz, the 37-year-old clarified why Ishan Kishan might be an exceptional opening choice for India in T20Is going forward. According to Patel:
“Ishan Kishan is a player to keep an eye on in this series. He started well for the Mumbai Indians this year and even though didn’t receive sufficient good starts after that. However, when he opens for India, he could indeed perform with a unique strike rate and has the alternative of being a left-handed opening batsman. I believe he must play freely and fearlessly.”
Quinton de Kock will be South Africa’s most important player: Parthiv Patel
If the Proteas are to succeed against India in their very own home, opening batsman Quinton de Kock must hit all cylinders, according to Parthiv Patel. De Kock was among the South African players who competed in the IPL 2022 season.
According to Parthiv Patel, “Quinton de Kock would be South Africa’s most important player if they are to win this series. This is due to his outstanding performance for the Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL this season.”
Quinton de Kock was spectacular for the Lucknow Super Giants, managed to score 508 runs in 15 matches, along with a remarkable unbeaten 140-run knock against the Kolkata Knight Riders.
The Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi will host the first T20I between India and South Africa. The first Twenty20 International between India and South Africa will begin at 7:30 p.m. IST on Thursday (June 9).
