Team India will host South Africa for six white-ball fixtures in late September and conclude the bilateral series by the second week of October.
This will be the second time in this calendar year when the Men in Blue will play South Africa in T20Is at home after both teams played a five-match series in June, which resulted 2-2.
It will also be the last preparatory game for both teams before they move to Australia for ICC T20 World Cup 2022.
The visitors have already announced their squad for both T20Is and ODIs, but India are due to name their squads.
Thiruvananathapuram will host the first T20I against South Africa, set to be played on September 28th, later this month, followed by Guwahati hosting the second and Indore concluding with the third.
