India and South Africa take on each other in the fourth T20I in Rajkot on June 17, Friday. India won the third T20I in Vizag but the visitors are still leading the series 2-1. Both teams now need to win the remaining two games to win the series.

South Africa have had the wood over India in T20Is played in India. In seven games overall, they have won five while India just two. The Proteas beat the Indian team in a Test and an ODI series earlier this year back in the rainbow nation. Thus the side has a huge incentive leading into the final two games.

India also have a big point to prove in the remaining two games. They are without their senior players and a young Rishabh Pant is leading a young group of players who now have a chance to win a T20I series.

Pant has the likes of Hardik Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Shreyas Iyer for the company who have leadership experience in the IPL. A series win here can be a huge morale boost for the players who are auditioning for a spot in India’s T20 World Cup squad.

Both teams went unchanged in the previous game. While India decided to stick with the side, South Africa were forced to stick with the side since Quinton de Kock was not fully fit. They now have a chance to make changes in the remaining two games. For India, the management is thinking hard over when to unleash Umran Malik against the Proteas batsmen. They have the option o do it in the next two games.
