Shreyas Iyer is the first player on this list. The right-handed batsman is part of the ODI squad for the IND vs SL series but has been dropped from the T20I squad. Iyer showed superb form in the previous series against Bangladesh.

Moreover, he also showed a fabulous form in 2022 in the shortest format. In 17 T20Is, Iyer smacked 463 runs at an average of 35.61 and strike rate of 141+ slamming 4 fifties.

2. Mohammed Siraj

Mohammed Siraj is another player who deserved a place in the IND vs SL T20I series but missed out. Siraj showed good form in the previous series against Bangladesh.

In the T20I series against New Zealand last month, the right-arm pacer emerged as the top wicket-taker in the series by hunting 6 wickets in 2 games. Hence, Siraj has shown good form in the past T20 series and should have been given opportunities in IND vs SL T20I series.

1. Ravi Bishnoi

Ravi Bishnoi is another player who deserved a place in the India squad for the IND vs SL T20I series but missed out. The right-arm pacer made his T20I debut this year. Playing 10 T20Is so far, Bishnoi has grabbed 16 wickets at an average of 17.12 and an economy of 7.09.

Even after his good show, he is being excluded from the T20I series now. Bishnoi should be allowed to make comeback in the T20I side and should have been given chance in IND vs SL T20I series.
