India and Sri Lanka are set to battle against each other in an ODI and T20I series next month. The IND vs SL T20I series will witness three games on January 3, 5, and 7. The IND vs SL ODI series will observe three games on January 10, 12, and 15.

India and Sri Lanka have not announced their squads for the series so far. While many key players will be part of India’s squad, there might be a few debutants as well. Here we take a look at 3 Indian players who might make their ODI debut in the Sri Lanka series.

The right-handed batter might get a chance in the IND vs SL ODI series and might also be able to play his debut ODI match in the series.

2. Rahul Tripathi

Rahul Tripathi is another Indian player who might make his debut in the IND vs SL ODI series. Tripathi has been part of many T20I and ODI series this year. However, he is yet to make his international debut.

He might get a chance to be part of India’s squad for the ODI series against India. In the ODI series against Sri Lanka, he might get a chance to play his first ODI match for India.

1. Mukesh Kumar

Mukesh Kumar is another player who might make his ODI debut in the IND vs SL series. The right-arm pacer was part of India’s squad in the ODI series against South Africa earlier this year. However, he did not get any chance to play in the match.

He showed good form in the recent India A match against Bangladesh A team. He might be part of the India squad in the ODI series against Sri Lanka. This time, he might get a chance to play his debut ODI game.
