IND vs SL Head to Head in ODIs- Sri Lanka Tour of India 2023, 2nd ODI. India and Sri Lanka will battle against each other in the 2nd ODI of the ongoing series. IND vs SL 2nd ODI takes place on January 12 (Thursday).

The Sri Lanka tour of India 2023 will witness three ODI games. The venue of the IND vs SL 2nd ODI is Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Rohit Sharma leads India in the series while Dasun Shanaka leads Sri Lanka. India won the 1st ODI and leads the series 1-0.

In IND vs SL 1st ODI, Sri Lanka opted to bowl first after winning the toss. Rohit Sharma (83) and Shubman Gill (70) gave a fabulous start to India’s batting, setting up a 143-run opening stand. Later, Virat Kohli shattered a century to take India to a gigantic 373-7 in 50 overs.

Later, Sri Lanka lost opener Avishka Fernando cheaply for 5 runs. His partner Pathum Nissanka scored 72 runs. One-down Kusal Mendis got out for a duck. Dhananjay de Silva added 47 runs. However, the batting star was skipper Dasun Shanaka, who hit unbeaten 108 runs. However, Sri Lanka ended on the losing side eventually, reaching 306-8 in 50 overs.
