Test cricket is something that witnesses big totals by many teams. Since there are no restrictions on the number of overs a team can bat in Tests, there are many times when a team reaches a massive total on the scoreboard. For instance, the highest team total by any team in Tests is Sri Lanka’s 952-6, which they scored in a match against India in 1997.

However, there are also some occasions in the longest format when a team suffers a massive batting collapse and reach a low total on the scoreboard. Such games also grab a lot of eyeballs due to the poor performance of the batting team and spectacular job by the opposition team while bowling.

Indian grounds are mostly high-scoring grounds. However, there are some times when teams get out for a miserable total on the scoreboard. In this article, we take a look at the 5 lowest team totals by teams in Tests while playing in India.
