Sri Lanka gets the 2nd spot on this list. The Asian team has used 18 Test openers since 2010. Sri Lanka last played a Test series against West Indies in March 2021, in which Dimuth Karunaratne and Lahiru Thirimanne opened the innings for Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka has played a lot of players in international cricket in the last two years and this has also resulted in a lot of batsmen playing at the opening slot in Test cricket.
