Mithali Raj And Marizanne Kapp Moves Into The Top Three

There is a lot of changes in the ranking table while Mithali Raj and Marizanne Kapp move into the top three as a batswoman.

India Women beats the host Sri Lanka women by 2-1 whereas the series between South Africa and Windies ended in 1-1. However, there is a bit change in the ICC Women’s Championship table.

New Zealand, Australia, and England are at the top and the sequence below them reading 4. The Windies, 5. Pakistan, 6. India, 7. South Africa, and 8. Meanwhile, Athapathu rose 11 places to No.10 with a career-high 628 points.

Moreover, Smriti Mandhana, who scored 73* and 51 in the first and third games, held her to No.4 place. Harmanpreet Kaur had a poor series with scores of 7 and 17 in the two games she batted. She slipped four places down to No.17. However, the series got over on 16 September, the same day the series in Bridgetown took off.

Furthermore, South Africa won their first game by 40 runs, The second match was destroyed with no-result after rain, and the third favored the Windies who won the match by 115 runs. Meanwhile, South African pacer, Marizanne Kapp picked up 3/14 in the first game and 4/55 in the third. She entered the top three among bowlers from the fourth position.
