Pakistan’s dashing Shaheen Afridi had a hilarious conversation with Rishabh Pant and Virat Kohli. The pacer is out of the tournament with an injury that has given Pakistan Cricket Board a huge blow. Although the fast bowler was seen having a chat with Indian Cricketers which made the day for the fans.
India and Pakistan are due to clash on Sunday (28th August) at Dubai International Stadium. Indians will still have those painful memories of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 where they were thrashed by the Men in Green. A lot of spectators are expected for the clash as India vs Pakistan is considered to be the mother of all rivalries.
Shaheen Afridi has a funny chat with Rishabh Pant & Virat Kohli
On Thursday night, Pakistan Cricket Board shared a video on Twitter in which Shaheen Afridi was seen having conversations with KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Rishabh Pant. The sensational pacer was seen in knee braces. The Indian players were seen asking about his well being which was great to see as still there is good camaraderie amongst the players.
Shaheen teased Pant by saying: “Yaar main soch Raha hu aapki Tarah bas batting shuru kar du, Ek haath se chhakke lagaau (I’m thinking of becoming a batter like you, start hitting sixes with a single hand).
Pant replied, “Fast bowler ho toh effort lagaana padega sir! Compulsory hai (If you’re a fast bowler, you have to put in the effort. It’s compulsory).
When asked about his recovery time, the lethal pacer said it will take around 5 weeks. The Pakistan pacer wished the Indian stumper all the best and said, “Good luck match ke liye, aaunga dekhne (Good luck for the game. I’ll come to see it).”

Virat Kohli has a chance to reinvent himself
The star Indian batter has a golden chance to stamp his authority. The batter was in sublime touch in the ICC T20 World Cup match against Pakistan. It was because of him that the team had put a decent total on board. At the same time, a lot has changed as he is no longer a captain and most importantly he has lost his mojo which has started hurting Team India.
India would be relieved as they are not placed in a precarious group of Group B: Sri Lanka, Bangladesh & Afghanistan where there is cut-throat competition. Although, one loss is enough to change the dynamics for India. Indian fans would be hoping for a better show on Sunday where the entire world would be glued to the television screen.
