Virat Kohli and co eventually got their man in the form of Zak Crawley after a poor DRS call during the morning session of the opening Test in Nottingham.

It all happened during the 21st over of the morning session when Mohammed Siraj, bowling with a scrambled seam, got one to nip back into Crawley.

The Indians went up in unison but the on-field umpire was not interested one bit.

So confident was Virat Kohli that he immediately went up for the review as the Indians started their premature celebrations.

The celebration was eventually short-lived as UltraEdge clearly showed that there was daylight between Crawley’s bat or gloves and the ball.

Two balls later, Mohammed Siraj once again for one to jag back into Zak Craeleu and once again the Indians went up in unison but the response from the umpire was the same- “Not out”.

This time, however, Virat was pretty hesitant in taking the DRS. He first asked Mohammed Siraj but didn’t get any confident response.

Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant was once again convinced that Crawley had got an edge this time, much like the same on the previous occasion.

Virat reluctantly went for the review but to his every Indian’s delight, Rishabh Pant was right on point with his judgment as Ultra Edge confirmed that Zak Crawley had indeed got a feather.

Kohli was as usual pumped after watching the replay on the screen as was the entire team as Zak Crawley was looking in good touch during his 68-ball 27.
